Boston Boxing Promotions has confirmed that Chris Sarro (1-0), a fan favorite from the Bare-Knuckle circuit, will take on his biggest challenge yet as he faces towering 6’8” heavyweight Serhii Sheludko (6-1, 3 KOs) in a 4-round clash on Friday, January 24th, at Melrose Memorial Hall in Melrose, Massachusetts. The fight is part of the highly anticipated “SuperBrawl” event.
Sarro, known for his explosive knockouts and fearless fighting style, recently made an impressive transition to professional gloved boxing. In December, he delivered a commanding unanimous decision victory over Igor Da Silva in his home state of Maine, solidifying his place as a rising star in the heavyweight division.
Sheludko, under the guidance of 2023 Boston Boxing Promotions “Trainer of the Year” Anatoliy Dudchenko, enters the bout following a 2nd-round TKO win in July over Victor Hugo Costa. However, with Sarro’s combination of power, skill, and momentum, this fight is shaping up to be a true test for the Ukrainian giant.
